What is acrylic occasional furniture?
Acrylic occasional furniture refers to accent pieces such as side tables or coffee tables made from durable transparent plastic. Often called Lucite or Plexiglass, these pieces are highly prized in interior design for making small rooms feel larger and brighter because they let light pass through and reduce visual clutter.
What is objet d'art?
An objet d'art (French for "art object") is a small, three-dimensional item that is valued for its aesthetic beauty and fine craftsmanship.
Are C.K Studio pieces handmade?
Yes our pieces are custom-made and fabricated locally in Tasmania.

Can I customise or interchange C.K Studio pieces?
All designs from our Occasional Furniture and Objet d'Art ranges can be modified to suit your specific space, including sizes and colours. Custom pieces require a direct enquiry with the studio - please email enquiries@ckstudio.com.au
Specific modular occasional furniture lines (such as the side and coffee tables) feature a flatpack, modular design with interchangeable parts. You can swap out different elements to change the look, and we even sell spare parts like different coloured side table tops directly through our shop.
What sizes are available?
Our Low Coffee Table measures 400mm (H) x 900mm (W) x 900mm (D).
Our Mid Side Tables measure 500mm (H) x 500mm (W) x 500mm (D).
Our Tall Side Tables measure 750mm (H) x 300mm (W) x 300mm (D).
Do you ship Australia wide?
We offer FREE Standard Shipping within Australia. Please contact us if you wish to use Express Shipping.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently do not ship overseas directly from our online store. However, if you wish your order to be shipped to a destination outside of Australia please email us enquiries@ckstudio.com.au for a shipping quote. (Please note that some countries may have import restrictions and we advise local customs regulations and any import duties be checked prior to placing an order for shipping outside of Australia.)
What is your return policy?
At C.K Studio we understand that sometimes we change our mind or something just doesn’t fit. This is why we provide a 7-day money back guarantee if you change your mind on a particular piece.
For any change of minds, the company will entitle you to a refund provided that, we are informed within 7 days of delivery however, all return costs will be at the buyers' expense.
We also recommend that all items are in their original wrappings and not assembled or part assembled in any way.
Upon receipt of returned goods we will then inspect and, if everything is in perfect condition, the refund will be processed within 7 working days.
What is your faulty or damaged item policy?
It is important to inspect the goods and notify us within 48 hours of delivery of any damage to allow us to resolve the matter quickly by arranging exchange or refund. Emailing photographs of the damage to the item are a good idea to ensure clear communication.
We will not refund or replace a product where in our reasonable opinion the product has, following the sale to you, become of unacceptable quality due to fair wear and tear, misuse, failure to use in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, using it in an abnormal way or failure to take reasonable care.

What inspires C.K Studio designs?
Our designs are inspired by our daily interactions with art and play with transparency, colour psychology and the idea of mixing form and function. Pieces are meant to be interactive, shifting with natural light and room reflections.
How do I care for acrylic furniture?
To clean acrylic furniture, use a soft microfibre cloth and a mild solution of liquid dish soap and warm water. Wipe gently using sweeping stroked. Avoid harsh chemicals and skip papers towels which can easily scratch the surface.
What rooms work best with C.K Studio pieces?
Our pieces work best in rooms that receive natural light such as sun-drenched living rooms, vibrant entryways, or modern home offices. Our signature iridescent and neon acrylic pieces act as functional light manipulators, casting beautiful, shifting colours as the sun moves across the space.
